Can i turned my microphone jack on my laptop into a headphone jack?

My headphone jack is damaged but my microphone jack is fine, i was wondering if there was a way that i could turn my working microphone jack into a headphone jack.

I have a Compaq Presario C700 Notebook PC with a 32 bit operating system, im not sure if that helps but i just thought i should include it.

No u cant, but if its a problem.. try getting a USB headset, then u wont need to use the headphone socket on the laptop.
